Lee ‘Doc Woods’ Woodard, Biography

“Doc Woods” understands what it takes to be successful and competitive on and off the course. 

He uses a formal training and 33+ years experience as a manager, career coach, analyst, researcher, and sports competitor.

Doc has:

• A Mathematics degree with a minor in Psychology; Plus postgraduate work towards an MBA.
   
• Participated in several hundred competitive ‘wars’ over 50 consecutive years of organized sports.
   
• Played three sports (baseball, volleyball, and golf) on the national level.
   
• Read/studied over 60 books on sport psychology over the last 20 years.
   
• Retired from Lakeshore Learning Materials as
  Vice President and CIO.
  
• Received training and certification in mental game coaching from a Top 10 Zone Mentor.
   
• Served as President, a Founding Partner, and Director of Training for a Top 10 Mental Game Company.
   
• Used USGA / SCGA SCGA tournaments, local/club tournaments, and the PGA’s Player Ability Test (PAT) to test the application of new mental and technical methods. Doc passed with 73-73 at Monterey Country Club - 3rd out of 70.
   
• Known and competed with (or against) numerous world class athletes. He knows how they train, prepare, eat, compete, excel, lose, win, and to some degree, think.
